You are bidding on one different, vintage antique.
This is a rotary treadle sewing machine manufactured by the White Corporation in or shortly after 1906.
Thomas White founded the White Sewing machine company in 1858. Originally it was called the White Manufacturing Company and changed its name when it was incorporated in 1876.
The company made cars, too, but in 1906 that product was spun off and became the White Motor Company. The White Sewing Machine Company was family-run until 1955. Edward Reddig became president and made significant changes to the operation.
Through the years White acquired appliance brands Kelvinator, Philco, and Westinghouse. In 1964 the company changed its name to White Consolidated Industries, and, in 1975, acquired Frigidaire.
In 1986 Electrolux acquired White Consolidate Industries. Electrolux rebranded its sewing machines as Husqvarna Viking in 2006 and sewing machines under the White sewing machine name were no longer produced.
The sewing machine serial number is FR 32011491.
The machine is sold in As Is condition. Please note, my research tells me that this machine was made in or shortly after 1905 based on the list of patents shown on the metal plate (See picture).
I don’t know the exact date of manufacture.
Yes, there are some signs of wear and tear. See the photos for details. But overall, the cabinet and machine are in very good condition for a machine that is about 115 years old. The cabinet is a made of quarter sawn hardwood.
Notice the fine woodworking. There is a ruler made of inlaid wood and metal built into the top of the cabinet.
The drawers are also finely crafted, and they all operate smoothly.

Included with the machine is an original metal box of sewing machine accessories such as spools and different needle parts. See photo for details.

This would make a useful decorator piece for any living room or hallway – much more appeal than most Singer sewing machines.
We enjoyed it but are downsizing and don’t have the room.
