This machine is in good condition, the decals are good condition as is the paint.  Produced with serial #ED937636 this machine was made at Singer's factory in Kilbowie, Scotland. The Singer 201 is a full sized machine and can handle both
    industrial
    and  domestic work. The 201 is the up-gunned version of the singer 99, she will sew just about anything you want to include light leather. This machine was sold to the domestic customer and due to the small houses in the UK, typical Singer's were produced as portable machines so they could be easily stored when not in use.
