Michael Jordan Signed NBA Spalding Basketball
Up for auction is an NBA Spalding Basketball signed by Michael Jordan. The ball was signed "Best Wishes, Michael Jordan" around 1989 when MJ was about midway through his career with the Chicago Bulls.

Backstory:
This ball was given away as part of a raffle at the Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. My father had entered the raffle while at the hospital awaiting the birth of his first child (me). He won the ball the day I was born (May 30, 1989) and it's been in my possession since then.
Condition:
Regretfully, the ball was not cared for over the years and has not aged well. There are numerous cracks and flakes in the synthetic leather and MJ's signature has faded considerably (it appears to have been signed with a ballpoint pen, rather than the usual permanent marker). Although the ball is somewhat deflated, it still holds its overall shape.
Due to its age, condition, and lack of certificate of authenticity, this autographed basketball is being sold "as-is" and is priced accordingly.
