Description
For your consideration is a group of four 8" Madame Alexander Dolls representing aspects of American life: Casey Jones #316 (1991-92), Holiday on Ice #319 (1992-93), Altar Boy #311 (1991 only) and Riding Habit #309 (1990 only). The first 2 dolls are from the Americana Collection and the last two are from Miniature Showcase. Their outfits are perfect. All eyes toggle well except for Riding and hers are easily moved by hand. Hair is in original set, skin tones and blush are classic Alexander.
Boxes are folded and 3 are in excellent condition with names and numbers clearly visible. Skater's box has a 1" scrape and the name plate has spontaneously faded. Original hand tags are present. Cardboard neck braces and pink tissue are present. Standard size doll stands are included. Since the boxes are folded from storage, I am planning on shipping them folded with the dolls in a medium Flat Rate Box; this allows significant savings on shipping costs for 4 dolls.
These dolls are on auction from the stunning collection of my daughter, an avid Alexander collector, who has had to downsize subsequent to moving. These dolls were carefully stored in a smoke and pet free home. They were never played with nor exposed to sun. All are in superb condition.
