Condition is "Used". Parts are in good oiled condition. Cast iron body is missing paint in some spots. Mechanicaly sound. Has no serious damages or broken parts. Missing thread spool holder.

BACKGROUND:
An elderly woman who is a family friend I am selling this for used this since she was a kid. She said her mom bought it from a school teacher to show her how to sew. She would take it with her on trips. Due to arthritis she can no longer use it. She is moving to assisted living in the next few months and even though she doesn't want to part with her "Midge" as she calls it, she understands that it wont do anyone any good in storage and she wont have enough room in her new place for much. When She told me she was hoping to get .00 for it. I asked why only . She said well heck with how old I am this thing has to be worth a lot more than what my mom bought it for. I laughed and said "Genevieve if is a lot more than she paid for it wait until I bring you the check!" I know the money will mean  the world to her as her transition has been costly and will need it. She gets 100% of however much her sewing machine sells for.    There are a few other items that she has asked that I sell including some vintage advertising pens, Staffordshire dogs, 1800s white gloves and a few more items.
