LOCKET with CHAIN & ORIGINAL BOX
Brownie Girl Scouts,
14K Gold Plate
From the 1950s comes this traditional Girl Scout Trefoil Locket with the Brownie Logo Elf embossed in the center.  The Girl Scout Catalog describes it as, "14K Yellow Gold Plate."  This is probably why it has kept its detail and it certainly has kept its shine over the SEVENTY YEARS.  It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with no wear that I can see.  The catch works fine on this locket, and the chain measures approximately 16 inches.  Notice the dainty filigree catch that works like new.
The BOX is original to this charming locket
, but it was
damaged in two places when I shipped in home after a swap meet.  It will not close tightly or stay snug (notice my black lines.)
This  little Brownie Locket
is a wonderful piece of Girl Scout memorabilia that is over 70 years old.  What a surprise gift it would make for your Brownie daughter or
her Leader
