    Description

    Easy to read, durable universal analog timer. It's the kind of timer one sees in a photography dark room, but almost as commonly one runs into it in research laboratories (where this one was used) to control processes that run a long time. The timer can be easily set by clicking the bottom "hand" to the desired number of hours, and when time's up, the outlets switch from on to off or vice versa. The unit is conveniently wall mountable using the screw anchors on the back (see photo) or it is fine by itself on a countertop or lab bench.
    The last three photos illustrate the kind of outlet switching you can do. The first two have the toggle switch (upper left) to the left, which flips both on with time remaining to both off. The first one shows time remaining, and the outlet tester on. The second one shows time elapsed, and the outlet tester is off. The third photo is the same as the second, except that the toggle switch is now to the right, which changes the outlet that is on when time elapses.
