MetroCrops has sold many of these JR units. This JR-4 unit was a display model in our conference room. Its original new price was ,295. It has been run but has been cleaned, rebuilt with a new power supply, and includes a new system warranty.
We have had many individuals as well as schools (7th grade and up) use these JR units with great success. They are particularly  good for growing leaf lettuce, dwarf kale, arugula, and basil. All of an extremely high quality.
This is not a toy but a professional quality hydroponic system.These are the same MetroCrops LED grow lights that were used in our USDA research grants.(We are moving and it is time to clean out the storage area.)
The JR-4 can either sit on a card table or on the floor.
