Description
Kimura Moriyasu天目釉 - Tenmoku-yu (Tenmoku Glaze) Vase. A beautiful example of work by world renown artist. In new condition with the original box, handwritten seal on the lid. 10 cm wide at the top, 23cm hight.
Kimura Moriyasu born. 1935
Studied pottery at Kyoto Ceramics Research Institute. He has been awarded the Kyoto Prefectural Order of Cultural Merit in 2004.
Works by him are held in collections and museums incl. British Museum, Dallas Museum etc.
