Description
This RideTech Triangulated 4 Link Rear suspension kit is designed to fit 65-70 Mustangs (all Body Styles). This kit will greatly improve the handling and performance of your Early Model Mustang over the stock Leaf spring rear suspension system. No Coil-Over Shocks or Shockwave Air ride shocks are included with this kit. We highly recommend using either the Ride-Tech Coil-overs or the Ride Tech Shockwave air ride shocks, but you can combine the coil-over shock brand of your choice with this 4 Link Kit.FEATURES/BENEFITS:
Better Control and Handling from your 9 Inch Rear Axle housing
Can Eliminate (in most situations) rear wheel hop, so you can get traction fast!
The triangulated upper control arms laterally control the axle housing keeping the housing centered under the car through high corner/turns and with hard launches and stops. Giving you better control over your Mustang and letting the front wheels ONLY do the steering instead of the rear wheels as well.
Adjustable Ride Height - You can lower the car up to 1-2 inches in the rear with Adjustable Coil-overs or Air Shocks (SOLD SEPARATELY)
Ability to adjust pinion angle on 3rd Member - You can adjust the 3rd Member pinion angle with the adjustable upper control arms to set the optimum pinion angle base on ride height and drive shaft.

The ride height of your car is typically lowered by approximately 2”. The ride quality is dramatically improved over stock ... instead of a wallowing soft ride you’ll experience a crisp, controlled ride quality that will inspire more confidence for performance driving.

. The system eliminates the OEM leafspring and replaces them with a 4 link rear suspension. The 4 link bars offer more precise positioning of the rear axle to eliminate flexing and increase stability through the corners. When combined with a ShockWave or a Ridetech Coil-Over front suspension kit your classic musclecar can now enjoy the benefits of modern handling and ride quality technology.
The R-Joint rod ends combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing that is as home on the street as it is on the racetrack!
