GIRL SCOUT RING
Early Eagle Design w/3 STARS
In 1932 this Sterling Silver Ring became available in Girl Scout catalogs in this slightly altered design from the original that was quite crude.
It is made with a more classic design and clearer detail on the eagle.
For example, the ribbon in the eagle's mouth was added.
The 1932 Girl Scout catalog states, "... t
he open works on the shanks add a gracefulness to this ring
."
It has 3 stars on the shield like the design of the Tenderfoot Pin of the teens and 20s attesting to its age.
It is very sturdy and certainly wearable.
