    Description

    This is our latest Design Alternator Bracket Kit for a Small Block Chevy using a Short Water Pump or a Supercharger/Blower Pulley. This Bracket is designed for "
    DART"
    aluminum heads. It also fits "
    WORLD PRODUCTS"
    and
    "AFR"
    heads. Will work with most other brands of aftermarket aluminum heads. If you're unsure, contact us, we can send  you the dimensions of the mounting holes.
    This bracket will not fit stock GM cast iron heads. It requires 3 bolt holes in the front of the head which is not available on stock Chevrolet heads.
    This bracket bolts to the 3 holes in the front of a DART, AFR,  or World Products head. It positions a standard size (1965-1985) GM alternator (or an aftermarket 1-wire) outboard of the head and slightly back so the belt will line up with the crank pulley groove that is closest to the harmonic balancer.
    This is a good looking, very solid design we developed for one of our customers. It will be a nice finishing touch for your street rod or muscle car.
    This kit comes with all mounting hardware to solidly mount your alternator. This bracket is CNC machined from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum. The flat surfaces have a beautiful brushed satin finish.
    Your Hardware kit includes all hardware and spacers required to mount your alternator and bracket to a DART, AFR, or World Products head.

    Installation of our bracket kits requires a competent mechanic. Our Bracket kits typically cover more than a 20 year span of engine and car models. We strive for a perfect fit, but with differences in blocks, heads, aftermarket parts, alternators, power steering pumps, harmonic balancers, etc. it is impossible to get a perfect fit 100% of the time. If for any reason your kit does not fit perfectly, contact us before damaging, or forcing anything. We have selected bolts and spacers for our kits that should work 99% of the time, but there may be situations where you need a custom bolt or spacer. We will be happy to supply those for you to ensure a perfect fit.
