Singer Model 66 Sewing Machine. 1918. G6279966. Head ONLY. This was originally fitted to an early Singer Treadle Cabinet. It was removed and fitted with an aftermarket 1 Amp motor and back-fitted Lamp. The motor wiring as well as the lamp wiring were in terrible condition from dry rot. Sewer sat unused for a long time. I have serviced the Head to a smooth working model. Makes a nice stitch. The Red Eye Decals are in good condition with some wear along the front edge and some chipping at random points over the Head. I spent considerable time cleaning the surfaces with oil to remove SOME of the accumulated grime without damaging the Decals. It is by no means complete as I removed just enough to expose the Decals. The Clearcoat is in good condition with some glazing. Model uses back mounted feet with only one included on Sewer. NO Bobbins or Needles included. Spoked Handwheel. It would be nice IF it was fitted to a Treadle. EVERYTHING WORKS CORRECTLY. 28 pounds with packing.
