Here we offer for sale a unique item of more than 100 years of age.
We spent quite some time restoring it but the results well worth it.
    It's 74cm x 41cm
It'll fit all full size SINGER like 15, 66, 201 etc
It features a 50cm long inlay ruler comprised of tiny bits of wood of different colors painstakingly put one next to the other shaping the numbers and lines.
The dimensions of those tiny pieces are so exact that allows them to form an accurate ruler !!!
The level of the craftsmanship and
the quality that the inlay was set are
    just
    extraordinary
    !
This kind of workmanship was mostly (if not only) found in the late 1800s to early 1900s in Germany in upper class luxury items at much higher cost.
Today very few of them survive.
Finding one in great condition and with their inlay intact or almost intact is next to impossible!
Finding plain SINGER or PFAFF tabletops in good condition is hard enough, let alone one with inlays !
That's because of how sensitive and fragile those inlays are and because of the intended use of those items.
For the past 30 years that we collect VTG sewing items, the sewing tabletops with inlays in good to great condition that we've seen for sale can be counted on the fingers of one hand!
Even google comes up with zero results.
    That's how rare they are.
Will be lovingly packed and delivered to the new owner by post.
