AMERICAN sewing machine by BHO & SM
The American Button Hole, Overseaming and Sewing Machine Company, had its factory on Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, U.S.A  erected in 1862.
The machine is in very good condition and working order
This is the early model , very rare and primitive number 8
decorated with beautiful and eye-catching gold and green decorations
The shuttle is present
comes with the original wooden box
The base is embossed with "American" and "Patent" to either side.
The base has a built in drawer which pivots out to keep any accessories.
Dimensions 35cm x 28 cm x 22cm
