Vint 1938 GSA GIRL SCOUT PROMISE 7x11" Paper Poster Edith B Price EX Not Repro

Today I will be offering a couple nice early GSA items as well as my usual vintage advertising, documents, letters, stamps, photos, stereoviews, postcards, and other ephemera. I frequent local auctions and estate sales up and down the east coast where I pick up lots of fun old stuff and list almost all of it on Ebay. Check my other auctions for more early ephemera. DESCRIPTION
: One of two early GSA items I'll be offering today. This one is listed in the Girl Scout Archive Management System under
"posters," as item ARC.003568, "Poster: GIRL SCOUT PROMISE." According to the GSAMS it was designed by Edith Ballinger Price and printed in 1938. It is printed on heavy paper stock and measures 7 by 11 inches. This example is complete and intact and is in excellent condition - never tacked, pinned or taped up. A rare find, as is the other GSA piece I'll be listing on Ebay today - a 10x12" Certificate of Membership on heavy stock, dated 1916, issued by the Girl Scouts Headquarters, Washington, D. C.

CONDITION
: There's one tiny nick on the right edge near the bottom, barely worth mentioning. Otherwise e
xcellent. Complete and intact with very minor wear, no creases, rips, stains, or other damage. Displays beautifully.
