Vintage copper 12" Batik Tjap stamp Connecticut stars & moon
Found in the estate of an artist/ sculptor are these 19 chop stamps. A few are duplicates .  They come in multi cultural designs to include the usa 1960 hippy revolution, stars , moons , fish, flowers and more. The last picture is only to show you the lot. The lot contains 19 pieces, one piece in one auction. THATS EACH AUCTION IS FOR 1 STAMP ONLY. THAT IS THE STAMP SHOWN, NOT THE WHOLE GROUP. THEY WILL BE AUCTIONED IN OTHER AUCTIONS.
They are used still with dry ink and dust . Each has a handle which I can cut off for you if you plan on hanging the piece on a wall or board. They are not flat as new. They have high and low spots, some very little some with a number of highs and lows. Ill be listing them through the week. You can google this type of workmanship its quite interesting and complicated All are made of copper . Mine have had their surface scraped with a razor to show the bright copper color which you can spray with a sealer or let it darken to match the patina of the rest rather quickly. They are used and bends have been corrected best I can . Look closely at them as I will not take returns on any of these. If you bid and win expect to get the exact one shown.
